SUMMARY:Annual Banquet 2022
DESCRIPTION:NOTE: Registration CLOSES on 11/29\, so if you want to go\, get er done pronto! \nThis is it our end of Year Banquet!  We have been working to this event all year. Awards will be given out\, and member appreciation gifts will be given. There will be plenty of food for all and prizes for almost everyone in attendance. \nWe will be collecting new toys in package for Toys-for-Tots at this event. \nThe menu has been hand-picked by a board of food critics and Martin executives\, so you know it’s delish.  Several of the options are Sliced Garlic Steak\, Chicken Marsala\, and Horseradish Mashed Taters.  The dinner will be buffet style\, and all can eat to their stomach’s desire.  If you leave hungry\, you’ve got no one to blame but yourself! \nAdditionally\, this is rumor swirling around that a super-secret guest host will be assisting Chris Wells with the year-end awards presentation.  Who could it be?  The Stig?  Takumi Fujiwara?  Elmo?  No one knows!  You’ll have to show up to find out! \nAnd maybe the best for the last\, or lastly the bestly\, there will be karting after all the buffet eating!  We have secured the Blue Track\, with three – count ’em THREE – 10 minute private sessions!  So bring your helmet (surely you have one!) and get your race on!  If you want to Kart\, go to the Andretti website ahead of time\, fill out the karting waiver\, and bring it with you.  Peeps 16+ of age are allowed to kart. \nWhen booking the event through Club Reg\, make sure you select the proper “ticket” – if you want to kart\, be sure to select the “Adult with Kart.”  If you just want to Adult sans karting\, select the “Adult no Kart” ticket\, and if you are bringing any rugrats\, be sure to mash the “Kids” option (seriously\, kids are welcome 🙂 ). \nSee you there! \n______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ \nRelease Note: You must pre-register for this event.  Walk-ups are not permitted\, and you will be turned away.  Be sure to register if you want to attend.  Thanks for understanding!  If you don’t see the Register button\, that means this event is too far out.  Wait until a little closer to the event date and then check again.

SUMMARY:Night Event #1 - Night Of Delight!
DESCRIPTION:Our first Night Event in quite some time!  Are you excited?  Because I know we are!  This event will be a No-Points event\, and it will be run a little differently than our normal events.  Please sure to check out the details below! \nThis event is Limited to 80 Drivers MAX!  No exceptions.\nMembers get first dibs at the reserved spots.\n–> Member Registration opens Jan 6th\n–> Normal Registration opens Jan 14th\nDue to the nature of this event\, kart and novice entries are excluded and we will not be accepting any registration in these classes. \nDetails:\n\nThis event will have two phases: a Dusk phase and then a Night phase.  Each phase will have multiple runs.  So you’ll get to see the course during the daylight (dusk-light?) and then have a chance to attack it again once the sun goes down.  Between the two phases\, there will be a break period where drivers and guests will have some time to get dinner. \nFor the Night phase\, it will be dark!  Therefore\, all vehicles must have forward and rearward facing lights securely mounted\, functional\, and on during the Night phase runs.  If you have no lights\, you will not run!  Also\, do not worry about number visibility on your car for the Night phase.  You won’t need glow-in-the-dark numbers or anything (though\, if you have them\, please absolutely do use them!)  However\, you WILL still need proper numbers/class display during the Dusk phase. \nThere will be a mandatory drivers meeting; all drivers must attend it.  If you miss the meeting\, you do not get to run.  If you show up for the Night phase\, and skipped the member meeting\, you will NOT get to run.  Additionally\, since novices are excluded from this event\, there will not be a novice walk. \nTiming:\n\n2:30 pm – Gates Open\n3:00 pm – Course open for walking\n3:45 pm – Tech Inspection Closes\n3:45 pm – Drivers meeting\n4:00 pm – Dusk phase starts\n7:00 pm – Night phase starts\n\n  \n\nNon-members are always welcome too.  Anyone can register and run with us.  It’s always fun\, it’s always an experience! \n\nPlease Note: You must pre-register for this event.  Walk-ups are not permitted and you will be turned away.  Be sure to register if you want to attend.  Thanks for understanding!  If you don’t see the Register button\, that means this event is too far out.  Wait until a little closer to the event date\, and check again.  Lastly\, all Guests (non-drivers) must sign a waiver when arriving to the event. DESCRIPTION:Our last member meeting of the year.  As usual\, we will discuss old business and new business\, eat some food\, hang out and have a good time.  We’ll probably also speculate on the season winners\, poke fun at each other\, and maybe even crack a few jokes.  Who knows! \nGuests are always welcome!  And if you are thinking about becoming a member\, that’s awesome – but wait until next year 🙂  Seriously though.  Hold off until January.  There’s only 1 more event this year\, it doesn’t count for any season points\, and you can participate whether you are member or not.  But if you are really itching to join you still can\, there just won’t be a lot going on until next year – though you can attend the end of year member banquet and watch people win awards if you want 🙂  And the awards are legit.  Just saying.
