DESCRIPTION:Brave the hurricanes and come to a member meeting!  (September is supposedly the worst month for hurricanes during hurricane season.  We’re not saying there’s a hurricane right now.  But there could be.  If there is\, check to see if the meeting is canceled.  Seriously\, don’t come to a meeting during a hurricane\, though we do appreciate the dedication.)  Okay\, so assuming there’s no hurricane\, why not join us for some food and club business and other agenda-y things? \nGuests are always welcome!  (Unless there’s a hurricane; guests: please don’t come if there’s a hurricane.  We won’t be here.)  There’s still a good couple months left in the season so if you are thinking about joining you most certainly can!  You won’t be eligible for any awards or anything\, but you can get a taste of that sweet\, sweet member life (#memberlyfe\, amiright?) (That’s not really a hashtag.  Or if it is\, we have no idea what it’s associated with.  We disavow all terrible associations to that hashtag\, should they exist.)

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our August competition event.  This is as hot as it gets!  The good news is from here on\, it only gets cooler.  Consider this an opportunity to learn if your cooling system is up to snuff or if there’s some work needed there 🙂  Bring lots of water\, bring your friends\, your sunscreen and hats.  Because while it may be hot\, it’s also going to be exciting.  We will be solidly in the middle of the member points battle.  Lines are being drawn.  Classes won…and lost.  The groundwork for season winners are being constructed right before our very eyes! \n\nNon-members are always welcome too.  Anyone can register and run with us.  Don’t let a little heat get the better of you!  This is an opportunity to get faster\, don’t let it go to waste! \n\nPlease Note: You must pre-register for this event.  Walk-ups are not permitted and you will be turned away.  Be sure to register if you want to attend.  Thanks for understanding!  If you don’t see the Register button\, that means this event is too far out.  Wait until a little closer to the event date\, and check again.  Lastly\, all Guests (non-drivers) must sign a waiver when arriving to the event. DESCRIPTION:Come to a member meeting for…air conditioning!  Assuming you have the energy and stored water weight to make it to the meeting\, there will be cold drinks and delicious air conditioning!  I’m sure the food will be fine too.  Don’t forget your change of shirt for the walk between the parking lot and restaurant entrance.  We on are the back half of the season.  Points are accruing.  Tensions rising.  Tempers flaring.  Jealousy rearing it’s ugly head (which makes sense\, have you seen the trophies these guys give out at the end of the year?  They are seriously top-tier.)  This is a good time to get into your opponents head and psych them out spend quality time with your peers and friends and congratulate them on the wonderful season they are running so far!  Jerks. \n\nGuests are always welcome!  If you are thinking of joining\, come check out a meeting and get a feel for the group.  If you have any questions let us know\, most of us are actually pretty friendly 🙂
